One of Prayagraj’s best-known temples is Hanumat Niketan Mandir, which is situated in the city’s Civil Lines neighbourhood. The temple was conceived and built in modern times, but it was built in accordance with the traditional principles of Nagar-style temple construction.
The enormous complex includes shrines to Lord Hanuman, Lord Ram, and Sita, Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, Goddess Laxmi, and Goddess Saraswati, among others, as well as a traditional gym, an akhara, a library, sweet stores, and the homes of the priests and staff.
